NT DM Directional Movement

NT version of the DM indicator.

Essentially, the DM is a set of three separate indicators, combined into one. It consists of the indicators: ADX, +DI and -DI. The purpose of the ADX indicator is to determine the presence of a trend, completely ignoring the trend direction. Two other indicators (+DI and -DI) complement the ADX. They are used to determine the direction of the trend. Combining all three indicators, a technical analyst has the ability to determine the strength and direction of the trend.

The +DI and -DI indicators measure the upward and downward momentums. The buy signal is generated when the +DI line crosses the -DI line from below; the sell signal is generated when the -DI line crosses the +DI line from below.
