Volatility quality cycle filtered MT5

This is a trend indicator that analyzes the price, trying to find a likely change in the cycle of the direction of movement. Two filtering options: according to the source data and according to the result, help to additionally remove possible minor deviations that do not affect the overall movement. Two options for using the indicator in trading: changing the direction or crossing the zero mark - by changing the color of the indicator (the mode is selected in the parameters). The default settings are selected for the hourly chart.

Options

• Cycle period - cycle calculation period
• Cycle filter value - numeric value for cycle filtering
• Rise color mode - color change mode: rise/fall or zero crossing
• Price calculation period - period for calculating the initial data
• Price smoothing method - smoothing method for the initial data
• Price filter value (manual) - numeric filter value (relevant if the next parameter is 1)
• Price filter period (auto) - period for the automatic calculation of the filter value (a value of more than 1 activates automatic calculation)
• Price filter multiplier (auto) - filter value multiplier for automatic calculation
