SwingPoints

Swing points are the areas on the chart where prices change direction. This indicator helps determine those swing points and filters out noise. Some use swing points to identify support and resistance. Others group the swing points to examine the differences and even others utilize these swing points in swing trade systems. The indicator has the ability to send push notifications, email alerts, or on-screen alerts at your discretion. Following is a list of setting for the swing points indicator.

• PushNotifications=true if you wish to receive push notifications, false if you do not.
• Emailalerts=true if you wish to receive email notifications, email settings would need to be setup within your metaTrader environment. Choose false if you do not wish to receive email notifications.
• OnScreenalerts=true; if you wish to see on-screen alerts. False if you do not want on-screen alerts.
• MajorSwingPointsalerts = true if you wish to receive alerts on major swing points. This works in conjunction with the type of alert you wish to receive chosen above. Choose false if you do not wish to receive alerts on major swing points.
• MinorSwingPointsalerts = true if you wish to receive alerts on minor swing points. This works in conjunction with the type of alert you wish to receive chosen above. Choose false if you do not wish to receive alerts on minor swing points.
• SwingPointSetting="Settings for swing points"
• MajorSwingColor=clrPurple; determines the color of major swing points.
• MajorSwingSize=3; determines the size of the circle shown on the chart for major swing points
• PeriodsInMajorSwing=13; sets the number of periods a high must remain the highest point to become a major swing high, in the case of a low it is the number of bars a low must remain the lowest point to become a major swing point low.
• MinorSwingColor=clrCornflowerBlue; color of minor swing points.
• MinorSwingSize=1; size of the circle shown on the chart for minor swing points
• PeriodsInMinorSwing=5; sets the number of periods a high must remain the highest point to become a minor swing high, in the case of a low it is the number of bars a low must remain the lowest point to become a minor swing point low.
• MovingAveragMethod=MODE_EMA; determines the type of moving average to display on the screen. This moving average is for reference on-screen and is not used in swing point calculations.
• MovingAveragePeriods=55; periods in moving average to display
• MovingAvergeColor = clrDarkGoldenrod; color of the moving average line
