Trade Visualiser

Need to see your trading history visually on your chart represented as arrows for entries and exits, SLs, TPs just the same way that metaTrader 4 shows then when you drag a completed trade onto your chart?

Need to see someone else's trading history on your chart but you only have a detailed statement or CSV file of the trades ?

Need to visually examine trades placed by a signal before subscribing to it ? 

Now you can.

Trade Visualiser shows the trades just the same way that MT4 will in the Strategy Tester or when a trade is dragged and dropped from the trading History to the chart. In it's default mode it uses the same colours and the same text descriptions and names for all the Objects,  entry and exit arrows, SL and TP markers, dashed line between entry and exit. But it can do so much more,  all Object colours are configurable,  close at TP and close at SL can be given special colours,  dashed line from open to close can be coloured depending upon the outcome of the trade.

This utility is an Indicator so it runs continuously and will update the chart when a new trade completes.

It can also take data from a CSV file and show that history on a chart, copy the CSV file to the experts/files folder, tell the Indicator the file name and it will draw the visual representation on the chart. You will see immediately how much draw down trades experienced and what the real Risk of a trading strategy is.

Indicator Inputs

• CSV_Filename - only used if reading data from a CSV file, the file name of the file in the experts/files/ directory.
• CSVFileHasHeader - set to true if the CSV file has a column header/title row.
• TimeOffsetHrs - if the data in the CSV file is based on a different timezone to the chart the positions of the Objects can be offset +/-.
• OpenBuy - the color of the open arrow for a Buy trade, metaTrader 4 default is Blue.
• OpenSell - the color of the open arrow for a Buy trade,  metaTrader 4 default is Red.
• CloseAtTP - the color of the close arrow if the trade was closed at TP, metaTrader 4 default: does not exist.
• CloseAtSL - the color of the close arrow if the trade was closed at SL, metaTrader 4 default: does not exist.
• CloseOther - the color of the close arrow,  metaTrader 4 default: Goldenrod.
• BuyLine - color of the line joining the open and close arrows for a Buy, metaTrader 4 default: Blue.
• SellLine - color of the line joining the open and close arrows for a Sell, metaTrader 4 default: Red.
• ProfitLine - color of the line joining the open and close arrows for a trade in profit, metaTrader 4 default: does not exist.
• LossLine - color of the line joining the open and close arrows for a trade at a loss, metaTrader 4 default:  does not exist.
• TPMarker - dash marker showing the position of the TP, metaTrader 4 default: Blue.
• SLMarker - dash marker showing the position of the TP, metaTrader 4 default: Red.
• MagicNumber1 - optional MagicNumber to use to select trades to be visualised - na. for CSV Mode.
• MagicNumber2 - optional MagicNumber to use to select trades to be visualised - na. for CSV Mode.
• MagicNumber3 - optional MagicNumber to use to select trades to be visualised - na. for CSV Mode.
• MagicNumber4 - optional MagicNumber to use to select trades to be visualised - na. for CSV Mode.
• ClearObjectsOnExit - set to true to remove all the Objects drawn when the Indicator is removed - na. for CSV Mode.
• Debug_Level - optional,  0 = no debugging (default), 5 = max debugging messages.
