Symbol Status mt4

The information indicator Symbol Status shows the most important information on a financial instrument and reflects the current account status.

The input parameters are:

Down price color	Red	The color of the labels with the current price when the price moves down
High label color	Green	The color of the label of the High-extremum
Low label color	Brown	The color of the label of the Low-extremum
Time to next bar color	DodgerBlue	The color of the label with a timer until the next candlestick
Spread label color	DodgerBlue	The color of the label that shows spread
Symbol name label color	DarkGray	The color of the label with the symbol name
Positive label color	ForestGreen	The color of the labels when the price is positive and profit is gained
Loss label color	Crimson	The color of the labels when the price is negative and a position is losing

 

The indicator panel is divided into several functional blocks with the following headings:

1. Price 
2. Properties
3. Time
4. Account Status

Blocks "Price" and "Properties" are updated when a new tick of a symbol is formed, and "Time" and "Account Status" are updated according to the timer at one second interval.

 

1 Price

This block displays:

• the current bid and ask prices
• spread
• extrema of an older period (determined automatically) and distance from the price
• time until the next bar 

 

2. Properties

The main properties of a symbol:

• price of one point per one standard lot in the deposit currency
• price of an average candlestick of the current period (timeframe) 
• Buy or Sell swap
• margin per one standard lot (in the deposit currency) and its share of equity (%)
• volatility  

 

3. Time

Time in New-York, London, Tokyo. If the Exchange is open, the text label is red, otherwise it is gray.

 

4. Account Status

The block shows current risk data:

• current balance
• margin of open deals and the share of balance
• the amount of possible loss of the set stop levels for open deals and their share of balance
• the current profit/loss level
• share of balance used in deposit currency and in percent
• actually available funds in the deposit currency
