Envelopes Scalper

This is a scalping Expert Advisor for trading highly liquid currency pairs. The trading robot uses a unique strategy applying Envelopes as a filter. It is recommended to use a low spread broker and a VPS server. The Expert Advisor can be easily optimized on historical data. Also, I recommend trading during the Pacific session only.

Parameters

• BalanceRisk – risk;
• Lots – trading lot if the risk is 0;
• ProfitClose – close all when a certain profit in % is reached;
• MaxDrawdown – close all when a certain drawdown in % is reached;
• Slippage – maximum slippage;
• EnvPeriod – the period of averaging for calculation of the indicator;
• EnvMethod – method of averaging;
• EnvPrice – applied price for calculating the indicator;
• EnvUpperDeviation – upper channel's deviation from the main line in %;
• EnvLowerDeviation – lower channel's deviation from the main line in %;
• EnvShift – shift;
• Magic – unique number;
• TextColor – displayed data color;
• Days of week – if true, trading is enabled;
• TimeStart, TimeFinish – trading start and finish: if the parameters are equal to 0, there are no time limitations.

Recommendations

Before running the EA on a real account, optimize input parameters for each currency pair. I recommend optimizing the following parameters on the last month using the quotes with the history quality of 99.9%:

1. ProfitClose – set the start to 0.5, step – to 0.5, finish – to 5;
2. EnvPeriod – set the start to 5, step – to 1, finish – to 9;
3. EnvMethod;
4. EnvPrice;
5. EnvUpperDeviation – set the start to 0.05, step – to 0.05, finish – to 0.8;
6. EnvLowerDeviation – set the start to 0.05, step – to 0.05, finish – to 0.8;
7. TimeStart;
8. TimeFinish.
