Zone Trade AM

The indicator is based on the elements of Bill Williams' trading system. Sell signals are formed when MACD and OsMA values are falling simultaneously (Bill Williams calls these indicators АО and АС in his book), while buy signals appear when both indicators are rising. Thick and thin colored histograms match MACD and OsMA values. If the histogram is greater than 0, the indicator value is rising. Otherwise, it is falling. Positions should be opened when the price exceeds the bar's high or low, at which both the histograms point in the same direction. Additionally, the indicator displays position of the current average price relative to the moving average (single-colored histogram relative to zero). By default, the moving average settings involve the parameters of the center line of yet another Bill Williams' indicator - Alligator.

Settings

• MA0_Period (>0) - moving average period to show the difference from the current average price;
• MA1_Period (>MA2_Period) - slow moving average period for calculating MACD;
• MA2_Period (>0) - fast moving average period for calculating MACD;
• OsMA_Period (>0) - signal moving average period for calculating MACD;
• MA0_Shift (>-1) - moving average shift to show the difference from the current average price;
• MA1_Shift (>-1) - shift of the fast moving average relative to the slow one for calculating MACD;
• MA0_Method - smoothing method of the moving average shift to show the difference from the current average price;
• MA1_Method - smoothing method of the slow moving average for calculating MACD;
• MA2_Method - smoothing method of the fast moving average for calculating MACD;
• OsMA_Method - smoothing method of the signal moving average for calculating MACD;
• MA0_Price - price for building the moving average to show the difference from the current average price;
• MA1_Price - price for building a slow moving average for calculating MACD;
• MA2_Price - price for building a fast moving average for calculating MACD.
