Virtual Multicurrency Trailing Stop

The name of the Virtual_Multicurrency_Trailing_Stop Expert Advisor is quite self-explanatory.

This trailing system is used in the Hammering EA.

The EA analyzes all currency symbols having open positions. Conversion into points is performed relative to the profit at each position considering swaps and commission. The product features automatic detection of decimal places in a currency symbol price.

Settings

• TrailingStart = 4 - profit level in points, trailing starting level
• TrailingStop = 1 - fixed trailing value in points
• TrailingStep = 1 - trailing step in points
• Lots = 0 - fixed volume used for conversion into points. If 0, a minimum lot from all open positions is used

What is the use of the Lots setting?

Example: we have the open position 1 with lot = 1 and the profit of 100 points and the open position 2 with lot = 2.

If Lots = 1, the position 2 should move 50 points to gain the same profit (in points) as the position 1, since the lot of the position 2 = 2.

Example for the EA

We have two positions opened at the same price and symbol. The EA settings are as follows:

TraillingStart = 10

TraillingStop = 5

TraillingStep = 5

Lots = 1

Open position 1 with lot = 2 and position 2 with lot = 2.5. According to the settings, both positions should move 20 points in total to fix the first trailing level considering that Lots = 1.

Thus, the position 1 should move 5 points, while the position 2 should move 4 points.

5*2 + 4*2.5 = 10 + 10 = 20
