Advanced Super Trend

The indicator shows a line of a relative trend based on an oscillator selected from the list. The line can be used for support/resistance depending on where the price is. Direction (fall/rise) changes when the oscillator crosses the specified levels (it is equal to the middle of the range by default, the value is adjustable) and can be additionally displayed in a different color. Change in the direction of the secondary smoothed price trend is displayed as arrows (you can also enable alerts); it appears when the trend line crosses the "price" moving average. A trend line can be calculated using two methods: by volatility or by standard deviation multiplied by a factor. The values can be additionally smoothed. The indicator is not redrawn after the close of a bar.

• Cross MA period - the period of the moving average of the price
• Cross MA method - method of smoothing of the price moving average.
• Cross MA price - price for moving average calculation
• Channel upper line price - price for calculating the upper line of the trend channel
• Channel lower line price - price for calculating the lower line of the trend channel
• Channel smoothing period - smoothing period of trend channel lines
• Channel smoothing method - smoothing method of trend channel lines
• Trend change detection oscillator - the oscillator for calculating trend direction change
• Oscillator period - oscillator period
• Oscillator price - oscillator calculation price
• Channel range mode - channel range calculation mode
• Channel range period - range calculation period
• Channel range multiplier - channel range multiplier
• Channel limit range multiplier - multiplier of the maximum channel range
• Dev mode smoothing method - smoothing method for range calculation using deviation
• Dev mode smoothing price - price for range calculation using deviation
• alerts on closed bars - alert of secondary trend change on closed/current bars
• Enable alert messages - show a message
• Enable alert notifications - send notifications
• Enable alert sounds - enable sound alert
• alert sound file name - the name of the sound alert file
• Show trend change arrows - show arrows to indicate change in the trend direction determined by the intersection of the trend line and the price line
• Trend up symbol code - symbol code for the upward trend
• Trend down symbol code - symbol code for the downward trend
• Use osc defaults up/down levels - enable use of built-in values for trend direction change based on oscillator
• Osc up level - the upward level of oscillator based trend change
• Osc down level - the downward level of oscillator based trend change
• Show cross line - show the moving average of the price
• Show osc trend direction arrows - show the current trend based on oscillator
• Osc trend direction arrow up code - the symbol code for the upward trend determined based on oscillator
• Osc trend direction arrow down code - the symbol code for the downward trend determined based on oscillator
